The No-noise gate is a project designed to reduce unwanted noises in a signal chain, such as hum, hiss, and other high gain drive-related noises. It is designed to fit in a 1590B enclosure, but is small enough to fit in the same enclosure after a high gain drive. It is ready to be wired as True Bypass and works based on a Dual Op Amp, 2 2n3904 transistors, and a JFET 2n5485. The only control is POT1. This project is designed to provide a simple and effective way to reduce unwanted noise in a signal chain.
