The Green Lemon is a pre-amp pedal inspired by Green amplifiers, renowned for their thick fuzz tones and growling bass. The Green Lemon is a JFET version of this tremendous pre-amp, designed to make the circuit available to the DIY world. The signal path follows the same order as the original tube amplifier, featuring a Baxandall tone stack between the gain stages. It is available in both DIY and SMD formats, with the SMD version featuring most resistors and capacitors already soldered on board. The Green Lemon has five controls: Bass, Boost, Gain, Treb, and Vol. The Bass and Treb controls adjust the low and high frequencies respectively, while the Boost and Gain controls adjust the amount of gain and boost respectively. The Vol control adjusts the overall volume. The Green Lemon is a great choice for those looking to recreate the classic Green amplifier sound in a pedal format. It is easy to build and provides a great range of tones, from thick fuzz to growling bass.
