The Semi-Sweet Distortion 3 is a distortion pedal that is inspired by the Cornish SS-3. It features four controls: Volume, Sustain, Hi-Cut, and Lo-Cut.
The Volume control adjusts the overall output level of the pedal. By turning it up, you can increase the volume of the distorted signal.
The Sustain control determines the amount of sustain or sustain length in the distorted signal. Turning it up will result in a longer sustain, while turning it down will reduce the sustain.
The Hi-Cut control allows you to adjust the high-frequency content of the distorted signal. By turning it clockwise, you can roll off the high frequencies, resulting in a smoother and warmer tone. Turning it counterclockwise will allow more high frequencies to pass through, giving you a brighter and more aggressive tone.
The Lo-Cut control, on the other hand, lets you adjust the low-frequency content of the distorted signal. Turning it clockwise will reduce the low frequencies, resulting in a tighter and more focused tone. Turning it counterclockwise will allow more low frequencies to pass through, giving you a fuller and heavier tone.
