The Curds and Whey Distortion is a pedal that takes inspiration from the Crowther Prunes and Custard. It features three main controls: Level, Mix, and Drive. The Level control adjusts the overall output volume of the pedal, allowing you to match it with the rest of your setup. The Mix control determines the balance between the dry and distorted signals, giving you the ability to blend them to your liking. The Drive control, on the other hand, adjusts the amount of distortion applied to your signal, allowing you to dial in anything from subtle overdrive to heavy distortion.
In addition to these controls, the Curds and Whey Distortion also includes two toggle switches. The first one is labeled Guitar/Bass and allows you to optimize the pedal’s response for either guitar or bass. This ensures that the pedal works well with both instruments and delivers the desired tone. The second toggle switch is labeled Contour and provides an additional tonal shaping option. It allows you to choose between different EQ settings, giving you further control over the character of the distortion.
