The Dirty Sanchez OD is a pedal that is inspired by the Friedman Dirty Shirley. It has undergone some improvements in its 2021 revision. The “Tight” switch has been moved to the front of the enclosure for easier access. The component layout has also been improved for better performance.
The pedal features several controls that allow you to shape your tone. The “Bass” control adjusts the bass frequencies, while the “Treble” control handles the treble frequencies. The “Presence” control is responsible for controlling the upper mid-range frequencies. The “Volume” control adjusts the overall output volume of the pedal.
In addition to these basic tone-shaping controls, the Dirty Sanchez OD also offers a “Mid” control, which allows you to adjust the midrange frequencies to your liking. The “Gain” control determines the amount of gain or distortion in your sound.
One unique feature of the Dirty Sanchez OD is the “Tight” toggle switch. This switch controls the low-end frequencies before the gain stage, allowing you to tighten up your tone and add more definition to your sound.
