The Droid Fuzz Arpeggiator is a unique effects pedal that combines an 8-bit type fuzz with arpeggiation capabilities. It is based on the Robot and features four modes: Just Fuzz, Octave Up, Octave Down, and Arpeggiation. The ‘Control’ knob adjusts various parameters of the pedal. When turned fully clockwise, it produces the expected effect for each mode. However, when turned back slightly, the octave-up effect becomes lower and lower, while the octave-down effect becomes deeper and deeper. The arpeggiation mode creates unpredictable and wild sounds. The pedal does not offer much in terms of touch-sensitivity or transparency. It is designed to be a crazy and fun effect rather than a subtle and nuanced one.One notable feature of the Droid Fuzz Arpeggiator is the option to have the internal gain trimmer as an external pot. This allows for greater versatility and customization of the pedal’s sound. To ensure a clean and organized layout, the pedal includes a separate daughterboard for the rotary switch, which aligns nicely with the other pots on the pedal.Overall, the Droid Fuzz Arpeggiator is a playful and unconventional effects pedal that offers a wide range of unique sounds.
