The Fuzztone 69 is a classic fuzz pedal that produces the legendary Fuzzface sound with Fulltone-typical quality and reliability. It is inspired by the Fulltone ’69 and is designed to emulate the sound of iconic guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix, David Gilmour, and Eric Johnson. The pedal features four controls: Cont, Fuzz, Input, and Vol. The Cont control allows users to perfect the midrange, harmonics, and sustain of the effect. The Fuzz control adjusts the amount of signal driven into the unit, while the Input knob helps to dial in the desired amount of signal. The Vol control adjusts the output volume. The Fuzztone 69 also includes an additional trimer to do the fine-tuning bias on the second transistors. It works with NPN Germanium transistors and includes an on-board voltage inverter so it can be plugged into a regular power supply. When the guitar’s volume is turned down, the pedal cleans up like a vintage Fender amp.
