The Mutron Phasor II™ is an optically-based phaser effect pedal. It has been modified to include extra phase stages, making it the “Glasshole” version. The Glasshole has a rotary selector that allows you to choose between 2, 4, 6, or 8 phase stages. It also has an optional tap tempo input that can be used with the mbp Wavelord tremolo and Tappy standalone TAPLFO3 controller.
The controls on the Glasshole include:
– RATE: Adjusts the speed of the LFO, ranging from slow to fast.
– DEPTH: Controls the intensity of the phaser effect.
– FDBK: Determines the amount of feedback in the phaser. The amount of feedback is directly related to the number of phase stages selected with the STEPS switch. For example, if 2 stages of phase are selected, there will be two stages of feedback.
– STEPS: A rotary switch that allows you to choose between 2, 4, 6, or 8 phase stages.
– T1: A trimmer that sets the depth of the D2 LED.
The Glasshole project is based on a previous project by forum member bangerang101, with additional modifications. It combines elements from two previous versions of the project and is now being released as an official project. The goal of the Glasshole is to provide an extended and versatile phaser effect pedal with enhanced optical capabilities.
