The JunkTrunk is a DIY envelope filter pedal based on the Agent 00Funk. It is responsive to bass and delivers funk tones. It does not require any out of production parts, making it affordable to build. The pedal is wired for true-bypass and has a bypass LED operation that avoids popping. The GasTank can be wired as true-bypass if the ENV jack option is not used.
The controls on the JunkTrunk are as follows:
– PITCH: Sets the frequency of the swept filter from low to high.
– SMOOTH: Sets the length of the swept filter, with CCW being short and CW being long.
– SQUELCH: Adjusts the resonant peak of the swept filter, with CCW being low resonance and CW being high.
– SWEEP: Determines the range of the swept filter, with CCW being narrow and CW being wide.
– D/U: Determines the direction of the filter, with left being down and right being up.
– ENV (optional): This jack connects to the Gas Tank pedal to allow for more dynamic response in the filter when both pedals are used together.
Overall, the JunkTrunk is a versatile and affordable envelope filter pedal that is well-suited for bass players looking to achieve funk tones.
