The Narcissus Overdrive is a pedal that is inspired by the DOD Looking Glass Overdrive. It features four main controls: Level, Gain, Treble, and Bass. The Level control adjusts the overall output volume of the pedal, allowing you to match it with the rest of your signal chain. The Gain control adjusts the amount of overdrive or distortion that is added to your signal. Turning it up will give you more grit and saturation, while turning it down will give you a cleaner tone.
The Treble and Bass controls are used to shape the tone of the overdrive. The Treble control boosts or cuts the high frequencies, allowing you to add brightness or tame any harshness. The Bass control does the same for the low frequencies, giving you control over the bottom end of your tone.
In addition to these controls, the Narcissus Overdrive also features a Filter control. This control allows you to further shape the tone by adjusting the cutoff frequency of a high-pass filter. This can be useful for cutting out any unwanted low-end frequencies or adding some extra bite to your tone.
The pedal also includes a High/Low Gain toggle switch, which allows you to switch between two different gain modes. This gives you the flexibility to dial in different levels of overdrive depending on your playing style or the musical context.
