Old School by Madbeanpedals

The OLD SCHOOL tremolo pedal is designed to replicate the vintage tremolo sounds of tube amps. It features speed and depth controls that allow you to adjust the intensity of the tremolo effect. The speed control determines how fast the tremolo effect oscillates, while the depth control adjusts the overall strength of the effect.

In addition to these basic controls, the pedal also includes two unique circuits. The starve control adds grit and chop to the tremolo effect by reducing the headroom of the circuit. When turned fully clockwise, it produces a unique, starved tone with crackling sounds.

The mode control allows you to select the parameter that is controlled by your playing dynamics. There are three options: S, D, and OFF. In S mode, the tremolo effect accelerates as you play stronger. In D mode, the depth of the tremolo effect decreases as you play stronger. In OFF mode, your playing dynamics have no effect on the tremolo.

The sensitivity control adjusts the sensitivity of the selected parameter to your playing dynamics. This allows you to fine-tune how much your playing affects the tremolo effect.

Finally, there is an internal trimpot called RESP that sets the speed at which the parameter changes in response to your playing dynamics. This allows you to further customize the pedal’s response to your playing style.

Overall, the OLD SCHOOL tremolo pedal offers a range of controls and unique features to recreate vintage tremolo sounds in a compact and pedalboard-friendly stompbox.
