The Polar Cap Fuzz is a pedal that takes inspiration from the Pettyjohn Rail. It features three controls: Level, Drive, Lows, and Highs. The Level control adjusts the overall output volume of the pedal, allowing you to match it with the rest of your signal chain. The Drive control, on the other hand, adjusts the amount of gain or distortion applied to your signal. Turning it up will result in a more saturated and fuzzy tone.
The Lows control allows you to shape the low-frequency response of the pedal. By turning it clockwise, you can boost the bass frequencies, while turning it counterclockwise will cut them. This control gives you the flexibility to dial in the perfect amount of low-end for your desired tone.
Similarly, the Highs control lets you shape the high-frequency response of the pedal. Turning it clockwise will boost the treble frequencies, while turning it counterclockwise will cut them. This control allows you to add brightness and presence to your tone or tame any harshness that might be present.
