Schematics, circuits, PCBs and veroboards for guitar effects pedals.
The VFE Springboard is a reverb pedal that uses a patented network of delays to create lush and springy reverb soundscapes. It does not rely on DSP algorithms, but instead utilizes the BTDR-3H brick, which is built on discrete delay chips arranged in a unique summing and feedback network. This allows the Springboard to create its own category of reverb sounds.
The pedal features two feedback controls that allow you to adjust the length and tonal structure of the reverb trail. It also has an active EQ section that can go from bright to brooding, giving you control over the overall tone of the reverb.
The controls on the Springboard include:
– VERB: Sets the volume of the wet reverb mix.
– LO DAMP: Sets the length of the decay for a darker trails section.
– HI DAMP: Sets the length of the decay for a brighter trails section.
– PRE: Sets the amount of clean pre-gain.
– DRY: Sets the volume of the dry signal.
– BASS: Active bass boost/cut.
– TREBLE: Active treble boost/cut.
– POST: Sets the amount of clean post-gain.
– FX TYPE: Echo-Verb.
The Springboard also has an internal trimpot for adjusting the amount of clean post-gain and a switch for selecting the type of reverb effect.
Overall, the VFE Springboard offers a versatile and unique reverb experience, allowing you to create a wide range of reverb sounds and tailor them to your liking.
