The Knight Of Tone is a dual OpAmp based transparent overdrive pedal inspired by the classic Bluesbreaker amps from the ’60s. It features many possible mods such as external presence control, internal charge pump, and external toggles to select between three modes: boost, overdrive, and distortion. The King Of Tone by Analogman has two Bluesbreakers circuits with different clipping options, allowing the user to set the pedal as an overdrive, distortion, or booster. The Knight Of Tone takes this concept to the next level with user-friendly external DPDT switches to select the diode mode and presence control. An internal charge pump doubles the 9v input to 18v, giving it more headroom and clarity. Additionally, a mod can be made to add more gain to the build. The controls of the pedal are Gain, Volume, Tone, Presence, and Mode Switch, each corresponding to each side of the pedal.
