The ODR-1™ is an overdrive pedal that has gained popularity recently. It is similar to the Belle Overdrive, but not a clone. The pedal features a relay for transistor switching and an added bass roll-off.
The controls on the ODR-1™ include:
– VOL: This controls the output level of the effect.
– GAIN: This adjusts the total gain of the pedal, ranging from mild to medium overdrive.
– SPEC: This is the tone control, also known as Spectrum on the ODR-1™. It has an active mid boost with low pass cut when set counterclockwise. This control is unique among overdrives.
– BASS: When turned clockwise, this control rolls off a significant amount of bass frequencies. It is particularly useful at higher gain settings where the stock circuit can be overwhelmed with low end.
Overall, the ODR-1™ offers a unique and versatile overdrive sound with its active mid boost and bass roll-off controls.
