The Queen is a pedal designed to capture the iconic tones of the legendary Rangemaster and AC30. It offers a combination of the two, but with the tubes swapped for a more size-friendly JFET transistor. With only three knobs – gain, tone, and volume – you can dial in the perfect tone and just focus on your playing. The gain control allows you to make the pedal sound like a clean AC30 for rhythm parts and then roll it to 10 for maximum sustain on lead parts. It can get angry and aggressive, yet chime-y and beautiful at the same time. The tone knob, based around the treble control of the AC30, gives you the ability to dial in just the right amount of high frequencies, regardless of the type of guitar pickups you’re using. The Queen is a great choice for those who want to capture the classic tones of the Rangemaster and AC30 without having to worry about complex controls. With its three knobs, you can easily adjust the gain, tone, and volume to get the sound you want. Whether you’re playing rhythm or lead, you can be sure to get the perfect tone every time.
