The Topographer Distortion is a pedal that takes inspiration from the Intersound IVP Tube Voice Distortion. It features four controls: Level, Gain, Bass, and Treble.
The Level control allows you to adjust the overall output volume of the pedal. This can be useful for matching the level of the effect with your clean signal or other pedals in your signal chain.
The Gain control determines the amount of distortion or overdrive that is applied to your signal. Turning it up will increase the intensity and saturation of the distortion, while turning it down will result in a cleaner sound.
The Bass control allows you to boost or cut the low frequencies in your tone. Increasing the Bass control will add more low-end to your sound, giving it a thicker and heavier character. Decreasing the Bass control will result in a tighter and more focused tone.
The Treble control, on the other hand, allows you to adjust the high frequencies in your tone. Turning it up will add more brightness and presence to your sound, making it more cutting and articulate. Lowering the Treble control will result in a warmer and smoother tone.
