The ’59 Fender Bassman amp is a classic for a reason. It was perfect for amplifying the Fender Precision Bass in the 1950s, and its simplicity, great tone, excellent dispersion, and touch-sensitive dynamics have won the hearts of guitarists over the years. This project allows you to have all the classic sounds of the ’59 Fender Bassman amp right on your pedalboard. The circuit has three controls: Drive, Tone, and Volume. The Drive control adjusts the amount of gain, the Tone control adjusts the frequency response, and the Volume control adjusts the overall output level. With these controls, you can dial in the classic ’59 Fender Bassman amp tones without spending thousands of dollars.
