The Verb Engine is a unique and unconventional reverb pedal that is not suitable for those who prefer clean and traditional reverb sounds. It is based on the Reverberation Machine and utilizes the popular Belton ‘brick’ circuit. The controls on the Verb Engine are straightforward, with knobs for reverb level, volume, and gain. The gain control adds an extra signal to the reverb, resulting in distorted and overloaded effects that can be both chaotic and satisfying. There are two tone modes available on the Verb Engine, offering either dark and deep reverberations or bright and shimmering tones. This pedal caters to those who appreciate unusual and experimental sounds. Please note that the Verb Engine kit does not include the Belton Brick, which is necessary for its operation. You can order the Belton Brick separately, with the recommendation to choose the LONG variant for the most enjoyable experience.
