The Byrdhouse Compressor is a compressor pedal that is inspired by the JangleBox. It features four controls: Gain, Attack, and Color (which is a toggle switch with three settings: Normal, Bright, and Dark).
The Gain control allows you to adjust the level of compression applied to your signal. Turning it up will increase the amount of compression, while turning it down will decrease it.
The Attack control determines how quickly the compressor responds to the incoming signal. By adjusting this control, you can shape the attack of your notes, making them more pronounced or smoother.
The Color toggle switch offers three different tonal options: Normal, Bright, and Dark. This allows you to tailor the overall tone of your compressed signal to your preference. The Normal setting provides a balanced tone, while the Bright setting adds some brightness and sparkle. On the other hand, the Dark setting adds warmth and richness to your sound.
