Schematics, circuits, PCBs and veroboards for guitar effects pedals.
Chrysalis Records was a record label in the 70s that brought us some of the hardest-sounding bands. Crisalida is a circuit created to bring back those legendary tones. It is a unique transistor-based board that not only emulates the sonic qualities of vintage amps but also captures that vintage amp sound you can hear on a record. Crisalida is designed to be simple and easy to use, with just three controls – Drive, Level, and Tone – plus an On/Off switch. It is voiced with an emphasis on the midrange, giving it an aggressive presence that cuts through a live band setting. It also has a lot of texture in the low end, making it full of organic life and clarity. This pedal is perfect for those looking to capture the sound of classic bands like Jethro Tull, Generation X, and UFO. With Crisalida, you can transform your raw signal into a transparent vintage overdrive sound like you never heard before.
