The Fat-Ass Blooper is a compact and versatile effects looper designed to preserve the low-end frequencies of your bass guitar. It is based on the Paralooper PCB size created by Moosapotmus. This looper allows you to blend your clean signal with your effect loop, giving you control over the amount of effect you want to add to your sound while maintaining the integrity of your bass’s bottom end. The Fat-Ass Blooper also features a toggle switch for a low-pass filter on the clean signal. This filter helps to further shape your tone by cutting out high frequencies, giving you a smoother and more focused sound. Despite its compact size, the Fat-Ass Blooper is designed to fit into a 1590B enclosure. However, please note that it may be a tight fit due to the amount of components included. The footswitch of the Fat-Ass Blooper is board-mounted, which means there is minimal wiring required and it can be easily mounted onto the enclosure. This simplifies the assembly process and ensures a clean and organized layout. The partial kit includes the PCB, all board-mounted components (excluding the footswitch), and pots. This allows you to easily source the remaining components and customize the looper to your preferences. Overall, the Fat-Ass Blooper is a great choice for bass players looking for a compact and effective effects looper that preserves the low-end frequencies of their instrument.
