The Guvernator Distortion is a pedal that is inspired by the Marshall Guv’nor. It features four main controls: Level, Gain, Treble, Mid, and Bass.
The Level control adjusts the overall output volume of the pedal. Turning it clockwise increases the volume, while turning it counterclockwise decreases it.
The Gain control determines the amount of distortion or overdrive in the signal. Increasing the Gain knob will result in a more saturated and distorted tone, while decreasing it will produce a cleaner sound.
The Treble control allows you to adjust the high-frequency content of the signal. Turning it clockwise boosts the treble frequencies, adding brightness and clarity to the tone. Conversely, turning it counterclockwise reduces the treble, resulting in a darker and warmer sound.
The Mid control adjusts the midrange frequencies of the signal. Increasing the Mid knob enhances the presence and punch of the tone, making it more prominent in the mix. Decreasing it will have the opposite effect, creating a more scooped and mellow sound.
The Bass control, as the name suggests, controls the low-frequency content of the signal. Turning it clockwise boosts the bass frequencies, adding depth and weight to the tone. Turning it counterclockwise reduces the bass, resulting in a thinner and tighter sound.
