The Kezuroukai project is a phaser effect pedal based on the Blackstone Effectors Whetstone™ phaser. It is a highly customizable phaser with roots in the OTA Ross and Small Stone. The controls on the Kezuroukai include:
– RATE: Sets the speed of the LFO from slow to fast.
– DEPTH: Adjusts the overall intensity of the phaser or vibrato effect.
– FEEDBACK: Controls the resonance of the phase stages, with higher settings causing a dip in output volume.
– VOL: Sets the output level.
– SWEEP: Switches between shallow and wide range of the LFO sweep, with interaction with the Rate and Range controls.
– STAGES: Toggles between 2 and 4 phase stages.
– SYM: Switches the two middle all-pass stages to asymmetrical, altering the total phase sweep.
– FILTER: Converts the third and fourth all-pass phase stages to low-pass, interacting with the Stages switch.
– VIB: Removes the input signal to produce a vibrato effect.
– RANGE: Sets the total range of the LFO with four settings: Normal, Pads, Ring, and Fixed.
– T1: A trimmer that adjusts the gain of the output stage before the volume control.
The Kezuroukai offers a wide range of customization options for phaser enthusiasts, allowing them to create different phaser and vibrato effects.
