The Shredmaster™ is a high-gain distortion pedal that was originally released by Marshall in the early 90’s.The Ripjaw retains the same controls as the original Shredmaster.
The standard controls on the Ripjaw include VOL, GAIN, BASS, and TREB. These controls allow you to adjust the volume, gain, bass, and treble levels of the pedal to achieve your desired tone.
In addition to the standard controls, the Ripjaw also features a Contour control. This control allows you to shape the midrange frequencies of the pedal’s tone. When turned counterclockwise, the Contour control emphasizes the mids, while turning it clockwise results in a highly scooped midrange sound.
It is a compact and portable option for guitarists looking to add high-gain distortion to their pedalboard.
Overall, the Ripjaw offers the same high-gain distortion capabilities as the original Shredmaster, but in a smaller and more convenient package. With its versatile controls, it allows guitarists to dial in their desired tone and achieve a wide range of high-gain sounds.
