The Schadenfreude Distortion is a distortion pedal that takes inspiration from the Electro-Faustus EF-111 Guitardammerung Distortion. It features four controls: Volume, Tone, Speed, and Intensity.
The Volume control allows you to adjust the output level of the pedal, giving you the ability to match the distortion level with the rest of your signal chain. This control is useful for achieving the desired balance between your distorted and clean tones.
The Tone control lets you shape the overall tonal character of the distortion. By adjusting this control, you can dial in a brighter or darker tone, depending on your preference and the specific sound you’re aiming for.
The Speed control affects the speed of the modulation effect in the pedal. This control allows you to add a swirling, pulsating effect to your distorted sound, adding depth and movement to your tone.
The Intensity control determines the strength or depth of the modulation effect. By adjusting this control, you can increase or decrease the intensity of the modulation, giving you further control over the overall sound and texture of your distortion.
