The Creamery Compressor is a pedal that is inspired by the DOD FX84 Milk Box. It features four controls: Level, Compress, Hi, and Exp Attack.
The Level control adjusts the overall output volume of the pedal. By turning it clockwise, the volume increases, and by turning it counterclockwise, the volume decreases.
The Compress control is responsible for adjusting the amount of compression applied to the signal. When turned clockwise, the compression increases, resulting in a more squashed and sustained sound. Turning it counterclockwise reduces the compression, allowing for a more natural and dynamic tone.
The Hi control is used to shape the high frequencies of the compressed signal. By turning it clockwise, the high frequencies are boosted, adding brightness and clarity to the sound. Turning it counterclockwise reduces the high frequencies, resulting in a warmer and smoother tone.
The Exp Attack control adjusts the attack time of the compressor. When turned clockwise, the attack time is increased, allowing for a slower and smoother onset of compression. Turning it counterclockwise decreases the attack time, resulting in a faster and more immediate compression response.
