Schematics, circuits, PCBs and veroboards for guitar effects pedals.
Project Thor is a take on the Marshall Super Leadâ„¢, inspired by the tone of the iconic amplifier. Run-off-Groove (ROG) replaced the tubes with jets and tweaked it to get the sound just right. The circuit has been designed to avoid the problem of having too much gain compared to the original. ROG is known for its amazing-sounding takes on existing designs, and Project Thor is no exception. It provides a creamy lead sound reminiscent of 80s records, with a tube triode-like response. The two toggles for brightness and low-end adjustment make it easy to customize the sound.
Project Thor has four controls: Gain, Level, Bright switch, and Bottom switch. The Gain control adjusts the amount of gain, while the Level control adjusts the output volume. The Bright switch adds a treble boost, and the Bottom switch adds a bass boost.
