The Transport Device Jr. is an analog voiced digital delay with 625ms delay time and an all-analog dry signal path. It is inspired by the EQD’s Disaster transportation Jr and has a unique tone control that acts as a noise filter on longer delay settings. The mix control allows for a signal boost of up to 4x the original signal level, and the repeats control can be adjusted from one signal repeat to near infinite repeats and self-oscillation. It is powered by a Pt 2399 and designed to use onboard potentiometers. The compact format makes it perfect for a variety of enclosures. The controls include Time, which sets the delay time from approximately 30ms to 625ms, Repeats, which sets the delay line regeneration from a single repeat to full-on self-oscillation, Tone, which sets the tone of the Wet signal, and Mix, which adjusts the balance between the Dry and Wet signal. Average availability of components is recommended, with a 78L05 on a TO-92 package being the suggested choice.
