The Texas Treble is a highly sought-after treble boost pedal that is based on the Diaz Texas Ranger. It is similar to the Range Master pedal but with the added feature of a three-way range selection. The original Texas Treble, as well as the current boutique version, has input caps that allow you to adjust the treble response. In the original design, the caps go from treble, to a bit more midrange, and finally to full range. However, at FDHQ (presumably the company or organization behind the Texas Treble), they do not prefer the full range mode and offer caps to keep the bottom end under control if desired. The Texas Treble can be used with either a germanium can or a silicon BJT (Bipolar Junction Transistor). While the germanium can provide a vintage and mojo-filled tone, the silicon BJT also sounds great and is a simpler option.Overall, the Texas Treble is a versatile and highly regarded treble boost pedal that offers a range of tonal options and can be customized to suit individual preferences.
